"I used the holder quite frequently when first purchased. It was often found as the centerpiece for small dinner parties. I also used it as accent lighting on the fireplace at Christmas and on other occasions. It was also pressed into service to provide light on a couple of power outage moments."

While I like the design, the wax melting into the sand that holds the candle in place, makes for a mess. I was always replacing the sand.
