"The vase was handmade from local products in Nicaragua, then purchased at fair market value by Roots of Change members for sale in Canada. Members bring boxes of goods when they return. Goods are then sold at local events as fundraising for development projects in Nicaragua." 
 
Reason for Purchase
I purchased this vase at a fundraising sale at our church. We support the work of Roots of Change which provides assistances to Nicaragua. I purchased three vases as I planned to give them as gifts. However, I could not part with them and have kept them on display in my home.

I wanted to donate something meaningful.
